Wildlife Madagascar
Supported by the Abraham Foundation since 2023
MISSION & FOCUS
Wildlife Madagascar protects one of the planet’s most irreplaceable biodiversity hotspots. With early support from the Abraham Foundation, the organization scaled rapidly to safeguard lemurs, restore forests, and support conservation communities.

IMPACT
25 lemur species protected.
150,000 acres of habitat under management.
Thousands of native trees planted.
Dozens of community members employed in conservation.
In its first year, Wildlife Madagascar launched three field sites—Anjanaharibe-Sud, La Mananara, and Namoroka—protecting over 150,000 acres of critical habitat. The team hired a Chief Conservation Officer, built two reforestation nurseries, and advanced efforts in species research, patrols, and community-based employment.
