Trunks Up has helped Elephant Nature Park rescue dozens of elephants from logging and tourism abuse, expand sanctuary lands by over 100 acres to provide space for roaming and herd formation, and pioneer the “Saddle Off” model through its foster program, now adopted by more than 20 regional projects. The initiative has also supported hundreds of local people through ethical job training and education program

Meet the Team
Lek Chailert
Lek Chailert is a globally recognized Thai conservationist and founder of Elephant Nature Park and the Save Elephant Foundation. For decades, she has worked to rescue abused elephants and reform the tourism industry, creating a model for ethical elephant care and sanctuary. Named one of Time magazine’s “Heroes of Asia,” Lek continues to lead efforts to protect elephants and promote compassionate conservation across Southeast Asia.
